An annual appointment, the Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica, organized by the Venice Biennale. Now in its 76th edition and directed by Alberto Barbera, it will take place as usual at the Lido in Venice. Dates: August 28 to September 7, 2019.
The Venice Film Festival, known as one of the most important events in the world of cinema, seeks to promote the knowledge and diffusion of international cinema in all its forms of art, entertainment and industry. The first edition took place in 1932, in the Terrace of the Hotel Excelsior del Lido. At the time, unlike today, there were no prizes of any kind, only the screening of participating films. Obviously, the years of great Italian cinema and grand Hollywood productions were wonderful. Today, the Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica still represents a fundamental stage for protagonists of the "seventh art". Its charm also lies in the stars, glamour, political messages and the gossip that always surrounds it.
We did say glamour. So how could we not be there? Pasqua Vigneti e Cantine will be present for the first time in Venice on the occasion of the Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica, but we don’t want to tell you how. We’ll be there in an unusual role, which we will soon reveal.
