Y by 11 Minutes wins the title of best rosé in the world and the winery is in the running for the title of Innovator of the Year from Wine Enthusiast.
Verona, 6 October 2023 – The main events and industry guides, in Italy and abroad, have also rewarded the Icons of Pasqua Wines in 2023, confirming how innovation continues to be the key value and supporting idea of winery projects. Last but not least, shortlisted for the second consecutive year for the “Wine Star Awards” by Wine Enthusiast, one of the most coveted wine awards in the USA, this year for the “Innovator of the Year” category. Pasqua Wines is the only Italian among the wineries in consideration for the title.
There is no other slogan than House of the Unconventional to better describe Pasqua Wines in techniques in both the vineyard and in the cellar. Wine critics have repeatedly used definitions and key words in recent years in the motivations that accompany scores and awards and describe the new vision expressed by the winery through its projects: “international research laboratory” (Wine Enthusiast 2022), “Silicon Valley – Renaissance bottega” (The Drinks Business 2023), “interpreter of traditional grapes with an eye to its future development” (Gambero Rosso 2023).
The national and international scores given as awards to the labels that most incisively tell the style and vision of Pasqua Wines support the opinions expressed by industry experts.
Starting with Gambero Rosso, which assigned Tre Bicchieri to Cascina San Vincenzo Amarone della Valpolicella 2018. The 2017 edition of the project identifying the territory’s potential through the use of organic farming received 93 points from James Suckling and the gold medal from The Drink Business, The Organic and Vegan Wine Global Masters 2023 (also achieved by Cascina San Vincenzo Ripasso 2019). Mai Dire Mai, pioneer of a new interpretation of Amarone della Valpolicella – more austere and vertical – attained 95 points for the 2015 vintage from the Guida essenziale ai Vini d’Italia 2023 by DoctorWine and the Corona from Vinibuoni d’Italia.
To the third edition of Hey French: You Could Have Made This but You Didn’t (multi vintage blend of the 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 vintages of Garganega, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon) Doctor Wine awarded 91 points, while James Suckling gave an even greater 92 points.
In the rosé wine group, Y by 11 Minutes Rosé Trevenezie IGT 2020 won the grand gold medal and the title of best rosé of the competition at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles Rosé and attained 5 grappoli from Bibenda for the 2021 vintage, while 11 Minutes Rosé Trevenezie IGT 2022 achieved 90 points from James Suckling.

Pasqua Wines has made innovation the driving force behind its work. We will pursue this path, creating value-based projects with an increasingly high profile in order to continue to promote the excellence of our lands with an outside-of-the-box point of view.”
Riccardo Pasqua, Chief Executive Officer of the winery, says: “Innovation for us means first of all a state of mind, which reverberates in all the contexts of our actions, whether in the vineyard, in winery techniques or in communications. The continuous investment in research and development allows us to refine our knowledge and skills of the vineyard, so as to study new and diversified approaches to the style of winemaking.”
