-COIN SPA AND PASQUA WINES PRESENT “A LOVE LETTER TO VERONA”
AN EVENT FOR THE VERONA COMMUNITY
On the occasion of the 56th Vinitaly, Coin SpA and Pasqua Wines invite the people of Verona to actively participate in the creation of an installation dedicated to the city of Verona by the Italian-British artist Adalberto Lonardi
Verona, April 02, 2024 — Wine, art and tradition are the pillars of Veronese culture and the identity of a city that has made its history into its distinctive brand, known and loved all over the world. On the occasion of the 56th edition of Vinitaly, the artist from Verona, Adalberto Lonardi, has created an original three-dimensional scenography designed to connect the spaces of Coin Excelsior with Pasqua wines during the public event “A LOVE LETTER TO VERONA” to be held on Friday, April 12 from 6 to 8 pm.
The two Veneto-based brands Coin SpA and Pasqua Wines have in fact invited the Veronese artist to create a site-specific installation, distributed among the department store’s windows and its ground floor, to pay tribute to the city of Verona and to wine, staging the most representative monuments of the city.
A dedication to the value of community, a recurring theme in the works of Adalberto Lonardi, which combines perfectly with the pouring of the most iconic Pasqua wines, also protagonists at Vinitaly, taking place during the week.
In the Coin Excelsior spaces, the public can appreciate and dialogue with Adalberto Lonardi’s three-dimensional panels and take an exceptional oenological journey that starts with Pasqua 11 Minutes Rosé 2023, then travels to Cecilia Beretta Soave Classico Brognoligo 2022 and arrives to taste the irresistible PassioneSentimento Rosso 2021.
In addition, an exclusive collection of ceramics by the artist that brings the theme of love to the table will be exhibited in the store: plates, bowls and vases decorated with a painted motif inspired by 16th-century Italian figurative ceramics in an ode to his hometown and to the invisible force that unites and heals us.
All participants are invited to interact with the work by sharing their thoughts for the city, helping to create together a unique and unrepeatable installation: a true love letter to the city of Verona.
