From the Villa Borghetti vineyards we also obtain a traditional Valpolicella, in which we maintain the typical grape mix including Molinara, which confers freshness to the wine, and the more intense and tannic Corvina grape. The wine is pumped over the skins several times during vinification in order to favour the extraction of their colouring substances and tannis, before maturing in wood for 5-6 months.
Ruby-red, with lovely fresh perfumes of currants and wild cherries and hints of spices and vanilla. On the palate it is well balanced with a long, tasty finish.
Perfectly suited for dishes of the traditional Veneto cuisine such as risotto al radicchio rosso, pasta e fagioli, bigoli with duck, veal or beef stews.
To be served at 16-18° C.
